CRISP -- Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects. Office of Extramural Research, National Institutes of Health. A searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects.
MEDLINE -- MEDLINE is the U.S. National Library of Medicine's (NLM) premier bibliographic database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and preclinical sciences. MEDLINE contains citations and abstracts from more than 4,000 international biomedical journals. There are over 11 million records in the database, dating back to the mid-1960s. MEDLINE can be accessed through a variety of interfaces, each with its own features and capabilities.
PubMed -- A search tool developed by the National Library of Medicine to access bio-medical literature citations in MEDLINE and additional life science journals, and links to full-text journals at Web sites of participating publishers. PubMed also provides access to molecular biology databases for nucleotides, proteins, genomes, structures, and more.
TOXNET -- Specialized Information Services, National Library of Medicine. A cluster of databases on toxicology data and literature (including TOXLINE) and hazardous chemicals.

CDC's mission is to promote health and quality of life by preventing and controlling disease, injury, and disability. Its website includes current health news, publications, and an A to Z list of health topics with informative fact sheets and links to other resources.
